    Fight against speeding cars gathers pace in Denholm

    News that improved speed-curbing measures on the approach to Denholm have been given the go-ahead has been warmly welcomed by campaigners and villagers.

    Village community council chairwoman Gwen Crew told The Hawick Paper this week: “Further to lengthy ongoing discussions, considerations for further signage to try and educate motorists to slow down before reaching the village are being suggested.
