Five members of staff have been suspended as a probe gets under way into “inappropriate communications” at St Margaret’s nursing home.
The Hawick Paper understands a multi-agency investigation was launched amid concern over what has been described as “serious allegations” centring on the Bright Street facility.
St Philips Care Group, which runs the home, said staff and client care and protection was central to its ethos, so any allegation would get top priority.
