    Despite having to dig deep and work hard for it, highflying Hawick Waverley maintained their unbeaten run for the season with yet another win. Jordan Yardley’s winner came with just four minutes left to seal the three points for Waverley and a double for the in-form striker.

    During a quiet opening spell, Waverley’s Taylor Hope blazed a free-kick over the bar and then drove a shot wide of target.

    Greenlaw showed what they had to offer with a sweeping raid that saw Kevin Wemyss break through, but he shot past the post.
