Hawick’s Catholic church waved a fond farewell to Father Jeremy Milne on Friday night with a party attended by more than 100 people.
The congregation at Ss. Mary and David’s gathered to say goodbye to the popular priest, whom after threeand-a-half years in charge of Hawick and parishioners in Selkirk, has taken up a new post at St John the Baptist’s, Corstorphine, and St Kentigern’s, Barnton, in Edinburgh.
