    Liz leaves after four decades

    Celebrating the end of a 40-year career with the NHS, Liz Sykes, third from the right in the front row, enjoyed a retiral party at Buccleuch Bowling Club surrounded by family, friends and work colleagues.

    Liz was formerly an auxiliary nurse at Drumlanrig Nursing Home, then Crumhaugh House, and latterly at the Community Hospital.
