Iain Jardine believes Shrewd is hitting form at the right time as he targets another big prize in tomorrow’s Cesarewitch Handicap at Newmarket.
The 41-year-old from Hawick wants to be “one of the best” and is earning a reputation as one of the UK’s most talented trainers, with Nakeeta’s triumph in the Ebor Handicap at York in August the highlight of his 44 Flat wins in 2017.
