After last year’s successful international day, supported by almost 700 townsfolk, Hawick will host the bulk of a new Scottish Borders Diversity Week.
The inaugural event runs from October 15 to 21, with a week-long programme celebrating diversity in our local communities.
Co-ordinated by NHS Borders and Scottish Borders Council’s joint health improvement team, along with private, public and voluntary sector organisations, plans began to take shape last December for a series of free, interesting, fun, and interactive events.
