    Avril’s Trust donate more life-saving kit

    Local charity Avril’s Trust has donated defibrillators to three more key locations in the town.

    Hawick Golf Club, Lochpark Industrial Estate and Drumlanrig Primary School have become the latest recipients of the lifesaving equipment.

    The golf club’s Nick Powolny, Ali George and Jackie Powolny receive a defibrillator from Wendy Brown. Bruce Lindsay and Wendy’s mum Faye are on the right

    The defibrillators are being distributed as part of the Trust’s mission to increase heart attack survival rates.
