    2017 ‘Hizzy’ Memorial Run

    Yesterday saw hundreds of enthusiasts gather for the 15th annual Steve Hislop ‘Hizzy’ Memorial Run. The route for this year’s fundraising motorbike ride took in more than 140 miles around the Scottish Borders, England, and East Lothian, starting from Denholm. Proceeds will go to Motor Neurone Disease Scotland as a tribute to John Dobbie, of Bonchester Bridge and later Hawick, a family friend who was killed by the condition.
