    Hawick’s Lana Stanger, wearing No5, surges across the line in first place to win the junior 90 metres handicap in style at the Langholm Games. A photo finish was needed to decide the winner, but the 11-year-old was given it in a time of 10.25 seconds. “I didn’t think I had won it. So I was really thrilled when I heard I had won,” she said. There were two other Hawick winners on the day.
