Bradford-based Caterleisure is “delighted” to have been awarded the café contract at Wilton Lodge Park and looks forward to providing customer satisfaction and seasonal menus.

“We are delighted to have been awarded the catering contract at the park,” said development director Louise Hodgson.

According to its website, customer satisfaction is key and it is “committed to producing food on site using fresh seasonal ingredients”.

A sample menu shows a hearty cooked breakfast at £5.45, paninis from £3.99, and toasties from £3.50, with a kids’ menu including a free drink.

While welcoming progress, the town’s Provost Watson McAteer said he was “surprised” the contract had not been awarded locally.

“I am waiting to be advised of the reasons that resulted in the Bradford-based Caterleisure winning the Wilton Lodge cafe contract,” he said. “However, their appointment represents progress and I will be encouraging this experienced company to pull out all of the stops and be up and running as soon as possible.

“I am surprised that the contract has not been awarded locally, however, I fully expect Caterleisure to recruit local staff to run what is a fantastic new facility.”
