    Councillors Watson McAteer and Stuart Marshall are pressing the case for the Borders Railway to reach Hawick

    Transport minister Humza Yousaf has been invited to visit Hawick, amid “real fear” that a bid to extend the Borders Railway to the town and on to Carlisle will not be given a “proper hearing”.
