    The winner of Hawick Horse Racing Association’s thoroughly entertaining pony series for 2017 has been presented with her prize.

    A total of ten young riders competed in the series at Hawick Moor, culminating in Frances Cromarty winning by only a head in the very last race of the year.

    She has been presented with a beautiful painting of her pony, Oakley, by series artist Anne Combe, who was one of the series sponsors.
