    Councillor’s call to fight scourge of fly-tippers

    Increased instances of flytipping around the town have been condemned as thoughtless and irresponsible.

    Councillor Stuart Marshall has been inundated with calls relating to this type of antisocial behaviour, and said: “Recently, I’ve seen a marked increase in the calls I’ve taken regarding flytipping.

    “Stirches, Mansfield Road and a layby on the A7 have all been targeted by irresponsible people.
