    A full house of 1514 Club members welcomed the appointment of Barrie Macdonald as their new president at their annual general meeting in the Border Club on Wednesday night.

    Barrie, 49, has enjoyed an insight into the role as president by following his brother-in-law Mick Hogg into the position.
