    Two local dancers are the champions of Europe after a weekend in Blackpool, competing against 1,000 children from the UK and Ireland.

    Twelve-year-old Michalina Guzek and Kayla Scott (7) did the town proud at the European Championships, where Michalina was also the winner of her grade section.

    Michalina danced her way to under-14 starter European champion and overall starter slow dancer, while Kayla became under-eight inter European champion.
