Local singing group, the Golden Girls, entertained dementia patients from wards ten and 12 at Borders General Hospital on Monday.
The talented Teries, who have been performing around the region’s homes and hospitals for more than 12 years, hit the high notes with a selection of popular Scottish and Irish songs as well as some poetry and stories.
Group member Margaret Casson commented: “I think the patients really enjoyed themselves and could relate to the old songs and music.”
