    Minto mark Paul’s two decades at club with timely gift

    The head greenkeeper at Minto Golf Club has received an award from the club after 20 years of service.

    Paul Cranston began working at the golf course in 1997, and the club marked his 20th anniversary with the presentation of a clock – just three days before he went to Borders General Hospital for a new hip.

    Many people in the Borders will know Paul through his long association with Jed-Forest Rugby Club, where he is currently president.
