    Hawick Waverley maintained their unbeaten run for the season and advanced into the second round of the South of Scotland Amateur Cup with a 3-0 victory over Tweeddale Rovers at Wilton Lodge Park.

    Dean McColm grabbed the Waverley’s first with a headed goal on the quarterhour mark and, with 26 minutes gone, Grant Gass put Tweeddale into further arrears.

    Waverley dominated the remainder of the first half but could not find a way past an in-form Rovers goalkeeper who pulled off some top-notch saves.
