    Nine teams and more than 400 children took part in Hawick Mini Rugby’s fantastic tournament at Mansfield Park.

    Joint co-ordinator Laura Halliday received positive feedback from parents after Sunday’s tournament, and was delighted to see the host club reaching the final at every age group.

    Hawick won the P3 and P4 competitions and were finalists at P5, P6 and P7. But the most important aspect of the day was the number of participants.
