    News that Mansfield Road faces a three-month closure for gas supply works, will impact heavily on one of the town’s major employers.

    Johnstons of Elgin managing director Nick Bannerman says the lengthy disruption will undoubtedly affect trading, and lambastes the lack of consultation.

    “The first I knew of the closure was seeing a sign on Friday,” he explained.
