A new ‘bump to baby’ group at the Congregational Hall is going from strength to strength.
New co-ordinator Ros Mundell, has seen a real difference in group members since she began work in June. She said: “The group is a great support network.
The babies are able to socialise, develop skills and play together.”
The group was recently awarded funding from the Cattanach Trust for a further three years and part of the church’s reaching out programme.
Group member Lesley Kerr said: “It is a great meeting place for new mums or mums to be. It’s a safe, friendly environment where people and their babies can bond. It is also great to have visits from professional groups to advise parents on many different things such as tax benefits, weaning and feeding.”
The group meets every Monday from 1- 2.30pm.
