    Hawick Linden kept up their winning run with a comfortable victory over Penicuik in BT East League Division 2.

    It was a good result at the end of the day against a plucky Penicuik outfit, however, at times Linden were guilty of squandering chances which could prove costly in tighter matches.

    Craig Smith was Linden’s man-of-the-match and was well supported by Pete Drysdale.

    John Frew was impressive in defence as well as attack.
