Around 50 former supermarket employees attended a reunion at Hawick Rugby Club on Saturday night.
The event, which saw memories rekindled of the old Presto store in Victoria Road and the opening of the new Safeway supermarket in Mart Street back in 1993, also comprised a disco, buffet and a speech from exmanager Alistair Campbell, who recalled some of the well-known staff members he had worked with.
A reunion spokeswoman said: “It was a fantastic night catching up with old colleagues.”
The event was organised by Joan McIntyre, Gordon Solley, Mandy Armstrong, Maureen Thomson and Tracy Wood.
