    The “time was right” for Betty Renwick to put the Sandbed Launderette up for sale

    The Sandbed Launderette, one of the town’s best-known and long-established businesses, is up for sale.

    Proprietor Betty Renwick, who turned 80 in February, has decided to hang up her iron stating “it was a big decision, but the time is now right”.
