    Jamie Hamilton, right, steered 300-1 Crokes Cross to a record-breaking victory at Kelso

    Teri jockey Jamie Hamilton posted a record-breaking win at Kelso races when 300-1 chance Crokes Cross became the joint longest-priced winner in Britain.

    He rode the mare to win the novice hurdle race, for local owner Kevin Mercer and Selkirk trainer Stuart Coltherd, who also co-owns her.
