    Scottish Borders Council has moved to allay lighting concerns on the Waverley Bridge

    Installation of new lighting on the Waverley Bridge is imminent following safety concerns over poor visibility.

    The dark spots had raised fears among pedestrians and were taken up by local ward councillor, Stuart Marshall.
