    Hub could open in temporary premises

    A temporary banking hub may have to be established in Hawick if a permanent site cannot be secured before the Bank of Scotland closes in October.

    That’s according to Cash Access UK – the body funded by major High Street banks to roll out hubs – who made the pledge amid concern that rent for the hub may not stay within the town as part of a proposed “circular economy”.
