    Heartfelt tributes have been paid this week following the passing of ex-Acting Father and former provost, Tom Hogg. He was 91.

    He passed away last Friday after several months in Borders General Hospital, Hawick Community Hospital, and, latterly, Deanfield Care Home.

    Leading the tributes, his son Stuart said: “Dad always put his family first, and would do anything for us. Even throughout his time in hospital his first question was always: ‘How is Mum [Netta]?’
