    The ex-Dorothy Perkins and Burton stores are to be revamped

    Work has finally started to convert the former Dorothy Perkins and Burton stores in the High Street.

    In March 2021, the property owner, Leeds-based Stoneacre Properties Ltd, insisted it would not be “left empty” after submitting a planning application, which has subsequently been given the go-ahead, for two new shop fronts and high-spec upstairs apartments at 65-69 High Street.
