Teries have paid tribute to “one of life’s gentlemen”, Greig Oliver, who passed away on Monday aged 58.
Greig was involved in a paragliding accident while he was in South Africa to watch his son Jack playing for Ireland in the World Rugby Under-20 Championship.
He earned three caps for Scotland in 1987, 1990 and 1991 as a scrum-half, and in his hometown he will be remembered fondly for playing more than 300 games for Hawick RFC.
