    Jedburgh jobs blow puts 40 Teri employees at risk

    Mainetti aims to cut 96 jobs

    An estimated 40 Hawick workers face an uncertain future with the announcement of major redundancies at two factories in Jedburgh.

    Engineering firm LS Starrett is looking to reduce its workforce by around 100, while clothes hanger maker Mainetti has launched a redundancy consultation process with 96 jobs going among the production, warehouse and operations staff.
