    Colin Turnbull causes Melrose problems in the 1996 Scottish Cup semi-final.

    The matches may be some 24 years ago now, but Colin Turnbull can remember the semi-final and final of the first ever Scottish Cup in 1996 – when Hawick tasted glory – like they were yesterday.

    The Greens went into the last four tie with Melrose as underdogs because The Greenyards outfit had just won the 1995/96 top flight title.
