Festive spirit is alive and well at Kat’s Corner Shop

    Friday, January 3rd, 2020
Kat’s Corner Shop comes alive with the magic of Christmsas. Inset: Youngsters Robert Lowrie and Harrison Combe meet the man of the moment

Father Christmas made a special visit to Kat’s Corner Shop in Myreslawgreen as a special “thank you” to local families for their custom.

Sunday, December 22, saw the festive spirit in full flow, with young Teries in great voice entertaining locals with a selection of Yuletide favourites such as Jingle Bells, Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Shop proprietor Katrina Yule, who has run the business since 2016, told us: “Christmas is a really exciting time and as a thank you for the support we receive throughout the year from local families, I like to invite them to come along to the shop and spend some time together.

“It’s a great opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit, have a bit of fun and even get a little gift from Father Christmas himself.”
