    Bonchester caravan park in line to reopen

    Plans have been revealed to revive the former caravan park in Bonchester.

    The Hawick Paper has learned that the site owner Gavin Stevenson of GLS Ltd has been approached by an interested party with a view to bringing back the caravan site which closed in 2004. The previous park held up to 60 caravans. It is understood that the new plans, which are subject to planning approval would see the site host a mixture of static and touring caravans.
