    A play telling the full story of Bill McLaren, ‘The Voice of Rugby’, will have its premiere in Hawick next year.

    His life in and outside the BBC commentary box is being compiled by sports writer Rob Robertson, formerly of The Herald, and Borders-based theatre company Firebrand.
