Councillor Clair Ramage has welcomed a clean-up at two of the town’s main allotment areas, and hopes to ensure their popularity grows.

Last month she launched a bid to clamp down on plot holders at Wilton Park Road and Guthrie Drive, whose allotments were abandoned and overgrown.
