    Last Thursday night’s Common-Riding Committee annual general meeting descended into “a rabble”, it has been claimed this week.

    Bad-tempered exchanges marred proceedings, with around 20 members of the public left “shaking their heads” in disbelief over what were described as “disgusting” scenes.
