    Councillor Watson McAteer wants to see improvement at the Saturday market

    Hawick’s Saturday market is “limping along”, leaving stallholders and customers “frustrated”.

    That’s according to local ward councillor, Watson McAteer, who also claimed that the Common Haugh site has had “little if any recent involvement by Liverpool-based operators Gerauds”.
