    Discount chain’s £5M store plan

    Discount retailer Home Bargains is set to plough £5million into the Homebase site at Galalaw, creating 50 full-time jobs in the process.

    Yesterday, the firm submitted a planning application in a bid to allow 30 per cent floor space for food retailing, and, subject to approval, aims to begin trading in the spring.
