Tributes have been paid this week to one of Hawick Operatic Society’s longest serving members, Jimmy Anderson who passed away last Wednesday. He was 84.
Earlier this year, Jimmy was presented with a 60-year award in recognition of his sterling service with the company.
He joined the local theatrical group alongside Christine Lyon, and they became enduring friends.
