The new police community action team (CAT) has got off to a “flying start” in tackling local crime.
Exclusive figures obtained by The Hawick Paper reveal that 70 parking tickets were issued in the town during the CAT’s first three months of operation.
Its officers were also involved in five drugs warrants where cash and supply amounts of Class A and B drugs were recovered.
