    Big bang theory hits the Park

    Fireworks will light up the night sky over Mansfield Park once again

    This year’s fireworks display at Mansfield Park is set to go with an even bigger bang thanks to a £2,00o grant from Hawick Common Good Fund.

    The inaugural event last November attracted more than 2,000 spectators and organiser Ian Middlemass told last Tuesday’s Common Good Fund meeting in the lesser town hall that he hoped for  3,000 people this year.
