    Two local councillors have branded it “ridiculous” that they’ve been thrown out of Scottish Borders Council’s ruling administration.

    Stuart Marshall and Watson McAteer are in no doubt that their decision to leave the independent alliance plus their unremitting resolve to do their best for Hawick led to their shock dismissal on Tuesday morning.
