    Hawick Community Council chairman Ian Turnbull is to continue in his role despite being diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.

    Ian, 63, began his first round of chemotherapy on Wednesday but is determined to continue life as normal and he is urging men to make an appointment with the doctor if they experience unusual aches and pains.
