A Denholm woman has spoken of her “great delight” at seeing the Queen during the recent royal garden party in Edinburgh.
Linda Daley, who worked at the Post Office in St Boswells for 15 years, and before that was well known behind the PO counter in Denholm, was thrilled to receive an invitation to the annual party at Holyrood Palace – and said the afternoon exceeded all her expectations.
