    Council on a slippery slope over grass-cutting schedule

    Bewilderment reigned this week after it emerged grass on the steeply sloping banking in Burnfoot Road has been cut by Scottish Borders Housing Association, while Scottish Borders Council continues to refuse to mow the town’s slopes for which it is responsible.
