    Council’s Moor plans support amid dissent

    The community council  has backed plans to explore the redevelopment of buildings at the Moor by agreeing to fund a pre-planning application fee.

    Members voted to pay £214 to support a request from the Friends of Hawick Mair, the group leading proposals to redevelop the existing committee rooms as part of wider plans to increase community use of the area.
