    Emtelle bosses have moved this week to reassure staff that the firm’s global expansion will “complement, not impact on its operations in Hawick”.

    The statement follows confirmation that Emtelle, which employs around 340 people at its UK headquarters at Haughhead, has concluded a strategic agreement to produce fibre-optic core in Indonesia.
