Deadly fire strikes Silverbuthall flat

A man tragically died last week in a house fire in Silverbuthall – as the town awaits confirmation on whether full-time cover will be cut at the fire station.

Three fire engines attended the blaze in Harden Pace last Thursday, with firefighters bringing the fire under control before working to make the property safe.
